IEP Urgent Care salutes Meghan Boomhower

Today we salute IEP Urgent Care Grosse Pointe’s Meghan Boomhower PA-C.

Meghan grew up in Grosse Pointe and is now part of the team dedicated to providing a higher standard of urgent care services for the local community. Meghan received her Masters of Science degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in the Physician Assistant program in 2008. She worked with IEP from 2008-2017 seeing patients in the emergency department at Ascension Providence Hospital in Novi and Southfield.

“I have deep appreciation for the training IEP Doctors and PAs gave me when I was a new graduate in 2008, and especially Dr. Goodman,” said Meghan. “The compilation of the individual efforts placed towards my development during this time contributed significantly to making me the clinician I am today. I am happy to be back with IEP now practicing in my own community.” From 2017-2022 Megan was part of the Beaumont Farmington Hills Internal Medicine/Rapid response APP (advanced practice providers) team and promoted to manager of group in 2018.

She re-joined IEP when our Grosse Pointe location on opened in June 2022. “We were thrilled to welcome Meghan back to IEP. She is an outstanding provider and an integral member of our local Grosse Pointe team,“ said Dr. Steven McGraw, Grosse Pointe resident and emergency physician owner of IEP Urgent Care.

Megan lives in Grosse Pointe with husband John and daughters Skylar and Maya.

She loves spending time with family and friends, and she is also the creator of LowKeyBeauty, a Sea Salt Hair Mist that is sold in local shops.
