COVID testing can be confusing

We’ve created a guide to help explain the different COVID test types and payment requirements. Based on the test type and reason, you may need an office visit or may be required to self-pay for your test.

What type of COVID test should I get?

I have COVID-19 symptoms

You will be seen in the office by a provider who will do an exam and discuss testing options. Your provider may recommend either a Rapid Antigen test with results in approximately 15 minutes or a PCR test processed at the lab with results usually returned within 24 hours.

I need to be cleared for travel or an event

IEP Urgent Care offers same-day COVID testing without having to be seen by a provider for travel or events. All of our testing options that do not require a visit with a provider are self-pay only.

Pre-Travel Testing:  Get tested and cleared for take-off. A travel clearance test provides rapid results, meets required documentation and gives you peace of mind to enjoy your trip.

Pre-Event Testing:  Don’t miss that upcoming celebration or family gathering.

Back to School or Back to Work Testing: If your school, daycare, sports team, or work is requiring a negative test, we can get you tested and provide the documentation you need.
